What are the Risks?
Circuit Days endeavour to make all events as safe as possible, this is part of the reason that all track days are non-competitive, events numbers are restricted and over-taking must be consensual.
Damage
The Circuit Days team fully appreciate that damaging your pride and joy is not at the top of your ’things to do before I die’ list! That is why we endeavour to make all our events as safe as possible.
Safety
Maximum safety is achieved by:
- Restricting the event numbers and therefore the number of cars out on the circuit at any one time.
- Enforcing overtaking by consent regulations vigorously. This makes car-to-car contact theoretically impossible.
- Ensuring everybody attends a thorough drivers’ briefing, which will include visual aids, tips from ex racers and an attendee question and answer session.
- Giving novices their own time at the beginning of the day to get used to the circuit and build up speed.
- Monitoring the circuit conditions and advising attendees of changes as and when necessary.
- Obtaining feedback from all participants throughout the day to ensure that all is running smoothly and that everybody is enjoying themselves.
Additional Guidelines
Following these guidelines, and those laid out by the ATDO (Association of Track Day Organisers) ensures maximum safety and minimal risk of damage.
We feel confident that there is no safer place to push you and your car to the limit than on one of our events - getting you and your car home in one piece is our No.1 priority.
